Q:  Do I have to get an eye exam before I can order contact lens?

A:  Yes, it is best if you saw a doctor before ordering a contact lens to be sure if you are a good candidate for a colored contact lens, to get proper instructions, and to receive follow up care. If you have a prescription that is more than 2 years old, you should be reexamined before ordering a contact lens. If your prescription is less than 2 years old and you are starting to notice some changes in your vision, you should be reexamined as well.

Q:  Do I need a prescription to get a contact lens?

A:  Yes. Even if you do not need any vision correction, you still need to know your base curve. When you need vision correction, we also need your power for both eyes in soft contact lens prescription.

Q:  Can I use an eyeglass prescription to order a contact lens?

A:  No, please receive proper eye exam as written above, then receive a prescription for soft contact lens.

Q:  Can I get a contact lens if they are a different size and base curve than I'm wearing now?

A:  You are supposed to be able to wear lens when the base curve is within the range of +0.2mm  to -0.2mm  from your prescription. However, some people do feel irritation if he/she does not wear the exact prescribed base curve lens. We feature 8.6 or 8.4 base curve lens, which supposed to cover base curve of 8.2 to 8.8. However if you are to use contact lens for the first time, we recommend do select the just fit base curse lens.

Q:  Is cosmetic contact lenses safe to wear?

A:  Yes, if you follow the common soft contact lens instructions. That means washing the hands before handling the contact lens, not sharing your contact lens with others. We recommend no-rub Multi-purpose-solution for cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting and removing protein build-up. Please note not to wear contact lens any longer than 8 hours, and to remove lenses whenever you feel discomfort. It is also very important to clean your lens case every time you handle it.

Q:  How many hours can I wear circle lenses, and can I wear circle lens every day?

A:  Since the colored part will block oxygen supply to your eyes, we do not recommend to wear circle lens more than 8 hours a day. Also, we do not recommend to wear circle lenses everyday either.  Please remember,  it's always a good idea to take off circle lenses when you are tired or not in a good condition.

Q:  Will the colored contact lens look on my eyes like they do in your pictures?

A:  They may and then again they may not. Our pictures are only meant to give you an idea of how the colored contact lens will look on the eyes. They can not be an exact representation because your underlining eye colour has some effect as does the color values of your monitor. Basically, if you have dark eyes and want them to look bigger, choose ring circle lens. If you want to have darker eyes, then choose black circle lens. If you have fare colored eyes and want them to look bigger, choose any color you like but ring circle, which look rather unnatural.
